Dec 31, 2011 · It is a 3 year old WH7P Boiler Mate, and the Smart Control was buzzing and shutting down. Although the heater carries a 6 year warranty, the control warrantly is one year. I contacted Amtrol after reading the many posts here, and they sent a new control at no cost to me. It took about 10 minutes to install, and it is now working very well.
